WHY THERMAL IMAGING?

Thermal Imaging Can...

Heat loss through building siding.
  • help your company identify cost saving opportunities by locating energy inefficiencies.

  • assist you in complying with NFPA 70 E inspections of electrical switch gear as well as electrical panels, transformers, motors, drive trains, conveyors and other mechanical systems.

  • be used to locate leaks, missing insulation, empty or ungrouted masonry blocks and other areas of energy/structural inefficiencies.

  • Thermal imaging crosses multiple professional and personal arenas. There is not much out there that can't be scanned, most often revealing anomalies much faster than other modes of investigation and measurement.

  • Best yet, it's completely non-invasive!

WHY US?

Expertise | Experience | Equipment| Consistent Reporting | Safety!

  • minimum Level 2 Thermography certification among all staff, along with NFPA 70E and OSHA 10 certifications

  • applicable field experience

  • extensive infrared equipment knowledge (calibration, setup, data interpretation)

  • timely reports that clearly communicate infrared data, and include infrared and digital images

  • exclusive use top of the line, high resolution FLIR equipment

  • consistent reporting, allowing you to track thermal patterns over time

WHY NOW?

Issues and problems don't wait

Image of a thermal anomaly in an electrical disconnect box.

The image above is a 480 V, 3 phase disconnect that services rather large air compressor unit. The "C" phase wire and connection, shown at the right side, was so hot that it had melted the outer covering of the wire, and in one spot the wire had welded itself to the fuse connection. Bottom line, without a IR survey this likely would have gone unnoticed; it was a fire waiting to happen! A couple of hours of change-out time by the electrician and this company most likely saved their bottom line from a rather large dent—both financial and safety wise.

It's amazing what you can "see" with a thermal imaging camera!

"After having my home scanned I was able to see many areas that I could easily fix, or make better, and we can already feel the difference! Instead of tearing out large sections of walls we were able to pinpoint where the problems were and that saved us a lot of time, effort and money!"
